What is a land purchase agreement for a part of an area still to be surveyed?

If the object of purchase is a partial area of one or more parcels of land that has yet to be surveyed, it is not sufficient to refer to the land register. This is because the partial area still to be surveyed is not yet evident from the land register.

In such a case, it is necessary to designate the part of the property so precisely in the property purchase agreement that third parties can also clearly determine the location and boundaries. As this is generally not possible through declarations by the parties involved, i.e. through a description in words, a site plan, or even better a cadastral plan, should be attached. The property should be marked on this plan. The corners of the property are usually labeled A-B-C-D-E etc.
