§ 1 Information about the collection of personal data
(1) In the following, we inform you about the processing of personal data when using our website. Personal data is all data that can be related to you personally, e.g. name, address, e-mail addresses, user behaviour. In this way, we would like to inform you about our processing procedures and at the same time comply with the legal obligations, in particular from the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

(3) When you contact us by e-mail or via a contact form, the data you provide (your e-mail address, name and telephone number, if applicable) will be stored by us in order to answer your questions. We delete the data accruing in this context, if the enquiry is assigned to a contract, after the time limits for the term of the contract, otherwise after the storage is no longer necessary, or restrict the processing if there are statutory retention obligations.
(4) If we use commissioned service providers for individual functions of our offer or wish to use your data for advertising purposes, we will always carefully select and monitor these service providers and inform you in detail about the respective processes below. In doing so, we will also state the specified criteria for the storage period.
§ 2 Your rights
(1) You have the following rights vis-à-vis a data controller with regard to personal data concerning you:

Right to restriction of processing,
Right to object to processing,
Right to data portability.
(2) You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority about the processing of your personal data by us.
§ 3 Processing of personal data when visiting our website
When using the website for information purposes, i.e. simply viewing it without registering and without you providing us with any other information, we process the personal data that your browser transmits to our server. The data described below is technically necessary for us to display our website to you and to ensure stability and security and must therefore be processed by us. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DS-GVO:

§ 4 Special forms of use
1. Use of Microsoft Office add-in Make It Bilingual!
In order to use the Microsoft Office add-in Make It Bilingual! (hereinafter also referred to as „Make It Bilingual!“) you have to book a subscription plan. The data provided when booking a plan (your e-mail address, personal name, company name, adress, payment information, telephone number, subscription plan information, date and time of the subscription, if applicable) will be stored by us in order to provide an authorization key and ensure the use of Make It Bilingual! for the duration of the subscription. We delete the data accruing in this context, if the enquiry is assigned to a contract, after the time limits for the term of the contract, otherwise after the storage is no longer necessary, or restrict the processing if there are statutory retention obligations.is processed purely on the client side. No user data is processed on our servers, in particular not the resolution files entered.
Microsoft may collect additional data in the context of Office Suite use.
2. Use of DeepL API Pro
We use the DeepL API Pro of the German company DeepL SE, Maarweg 165, 50825 Cologne, for the purpose of translation.
The texts you transmit to us using Make It Bilingual! for translation, which we forward to DeepL, are not permanently stored and are only temporarily retained insofar as this is necessary for the creation and transmission of the translation (pursuant to the data protection declaration of DeepL: https://www.deepl.com/de/privacy.). After complete performance of the contractually owed service, both the submitted texts or documents and their translations will be deleted. Your texts will not be used by us or by DeepL to improve the quality of the services. For further information on the processing of your data within the framework of the DeepL Pro subscription, please refer to section 6 of the data protection declaration of DeepL at: https://www.deepl.com/de/privacy.
Please note that, as a matter of principle, you may only translate texts containing personal data of any kind with DeepL Pro if there is a justification for doing so under data protection law. For this reason, our GTC provide for the conclusion of an order processing contract (see section 8.1.3 of the DeepL Pro General Terms and Conditions). § 5 Use of Typeform
We use Typeform by TYPEFORM SL, C/Bac de Roda, 163 (Local), 08018 Barcelona Spain (Typeform) for our contact form and our plan booking form. This enables us to provide you with an easy way to contact us or book a plan.
To do this, we share the following personal data with Typeform (contact form: your e-mail address, name and telephone number, if applicable. Plan booking form: your e-mail address, personal name, company name, adress, payment information, telephone number, subscription plan information, date and time of the subscription, if applicable).
Typeform is a recipient of your personal data and acts as a processor for us. The processing of the data provided under this section is not required by law or contract. Without your consent and the transmission of your personal data, we cannot provide you with a contact form or a plan booking form. However, you have the option of contacting us at the info@makeitbilingual.com. The data is stored exclusively for the purpose of transmitting enquiries and responding to them. The mandatory data is used for the allocation and answering of your request.
In addition, Typeform collects the following personal data with the help of cookies: Information about your terminal device (IP address, device information, operating system, browser settings). Furthermore, usage data is collected such as the date and time when you used the contact form. Typeform needs this data to ensure the presentation of the contact form and its functionality. This corresponds to Typeform’s legitimate interest (pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO) and serves the performance of the contract (pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO). The legal basis for this processing is your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) a DSGVO. You can revoke your consent to the processing of your personal data at any time. The revocation can be made via the specified contact options. Your data will be processed as long as a corresponding consent exists. The declaration of revocation does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out so far.
Your data will be deleted after completion of processing. Apart from this, they will be deleted after the termination of the contract between us and Typeform, unless legal requirements make further storage necessary.
§ 6 Web Analytics
(1) This website uses Google Analytics, a web tracking service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland („Google“). The purpose of our use of the tool is to enable the analysis of your user interactions on websites and in apps and to use the statistics and reports obtained to improve our offer and make it more interesting for you as a user.
(2) We primarily collect the interactions between you as a website user and our website using cookies, device/browser data, IP addresses and website or app activity. Google Analytics also collects your IP addresses in order to ensure the security of the service and to provide us, as the website operator, with information about which country, region or location the respective user comes from (so-called „IP location determination“). For your protection, however, we naturally use the anonymisation function („IP masking“), i.e. Google truncates the IP addresses by the last octet within the EU/EEA.
(3) Google acts as a processor and we have concluded a corresponding contract with Google. The information generated by the cookie and the (usually shortened) IP addresses about your use of this website are usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and processed there. For these cases, Google has, according to its own statements, imposed a standard on itself that corresponds to the former EU-US Privacy Shield and has promised to comply with applicable data protection laws in the international transfer of data. We have also agreed so-called standard contractual clauses with Google, the purpose of which is to ensure compliance with an appropriate level of data protection in the third country.
(4) The legal basis for the collection and further processing of the information (which takes place for a maximum of 14 months) is your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a DS-GVO). Revocation of your consent is possible at any time without affecting the permissibility of the processing until revocation. In apps, you can reset the advertising ID under the Android or iOS settings. The easiest way to revoke your consent is to use our Consent Manager or to install the Google browser add-on, which can be accessed via the following link: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en/.
